We design, install and look after smart home systems in homes across Norwich, Norfolk and Suffolk. Lighting, music and TV in every room, security cameras, motorised blinds, heating and the Wi-Fi that holds it together, all run from one app, a touchscreen on the wall or your voice.
Martins Hi-Fi has been on Ber Street in Norwich since 1968, and our custom install team has been designing smart home systems for more than 20 years. We are accredited by CEDIA, the trade body for home technology installers. Our own team designs the system, programmes it, installs it and manages the project, and we look after you afterwards.
New builds, renovations, older houses, barns and listed properties. If you are building or renovating, the earlier we are involved the better: cables are far easier to run before the plaster goes on, and we can meet you on site to plan them. In a finished home we plan the work around what is already there, and the installation can be as discreet as you like.
It starts with a free site survey. One of our specialists meets you at your home, on site or at our showroom, and talks through what you want the house to do. If you have no idea where to start, that is fine; it is our job to explain the options.
From that visit we write a specification and a proposal priced for your home. If it comes in above what you want to spend, we will go through it with you and find where it can be trimmed. You have one point of contact from the first visit to the end of the job.
When the work is done we show everyone in the household how to use the system, and our aftercare starts on the day we hand it over.
Our Ber Street showroom has home control, smart lighting, security and multi-room audio running, alongside a dedicated home cinema and a media room.
