  • On the Friday 26th & Saturday 27th of November we will be hosting a Linn LP12 event featuring the brand new 2021 LP12, the veent will be at our Norwich shop so spaces are limited, so please book via email or in the normal way.

New Klimax LP12 produces an even more musical, pitch-perfect performance; and marks the conquest of a new summit of performance at the top of our industry leading Sondek LP12 range.

This is thanks to the hyper-accurate speed management technology, whisper-quiet power supply rails, and cutting-edge motor design, which collectively comprise new Radikal; and also to the level of fidelity achieved following our team’s extensive experiments in material science – culminating in the breakthrough cartridge that is Ekstatik.

Ekstatik

This new flagship cartridge sets a new bar for arm/cartridge synergy; its unique construction forges an harmonious synergy with Ekos SE; wicking away more unwanted resonances along the arm, and out through the sub-chassis.

In our search for ever better materials, our experiments led us to the implementation of aluminium-bronze inserts. Now a feature of Ekstatik, these inserts allow us to reap the sonic benefits we found this alloy to possess. A micro-ridge stylus on a sapphire cantilever makes for an extraordinarily responsive cartridge.

The sapphire is far stiffer than boron or aluminium, eliciting less loss between the stylus and the generator. The result is an agile, responsive cartridge, with the added performance yielded from specifying these materials; masterfully matched in unique configurations.

Radikal

New Radikal features hyper-accurate speed management technology, which generates sustained, uniform rotation closer to 33⅓rpm than any turntable. It works hard behind the scenes, so that your ears don’t have to. Your discerning customers will experience even more of the music, in perfect pitch, thanks to an FPGAmanaged motor control unit (MCU), and the latest, precision-engineered motor technology – working in unison to produce ultra-smooth rotation, and our lowest drift measurements ever.

On the 26th & 27th we will be hosting a Linn LP12 event featuring the brand new 2021 LP12, spaces are limited, so please book via email or in the normal ways.
