Martins Hi-Fi has been working alongside architects, interior designers, and builders in Norfolk and East Anglia since 1968. We bring CEDIA-certified expertise in hi-fi, smart home, and home cinema to projects at every stage — from initial planning through to final installation and handover.

We're not a national chain. We're a family business with deep roots in the region, long-term relationships with our clients, and a reputation built entirely on doing the work properly.

What We Bring to a Project

Getting technology infrastructure right requires decisions made early — before walls are closed, before floors go down, before it becomes expensive to change anything. We work best when we're involved at the design stage, so the right provisions are built in from the start.

  • Architects and architectural technologists — specification support, early-stage planning, and infrastructure guidance
  • Interior designers — integrating technology without compromising the design vision; equipment choices that suit the aesthetic
  • Main contractors and builders — on-site coordination, first and second fix, handover support
  • M&E consultants — system design, load calculations, and coordination with broader building services

We're straightforward to work with. We communicate clearly, we hit our programme, and we don't create problems on site.

How It Works

Every project is different, but the process is usually straightforward:

  1. Initial conversation — tell us about the project, the brief, and the client. We'll tell you what's possible and what's realistic.
  2. Specification and design — we produce a clear scope of works, equipment specification, and infrastructure requirements in time for the build programme.
  3. Installation — first fix cabling, second fix equipment installation, commissioning and calibration.
  4. Handover — full client handover, documentation, and ongoing support from our Norwich team.
