Job Description

We are currently looking to expand our team and recruit an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced installation engineer. The position will be based in Norwich, working on projects predominately in East Anglia but occasionally further afield.

Job role:

· Installation and commissioning of AV and networking equipment including:

  • Home automation
  • Structured Cabling
  • Lighting
  • Audio Visual
  • Home Cinema
  • Interpretation of AV schematics and construction drawings
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date installation records
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on and off site
  • Commitment to safe working practices and maintaining health and safety requirements
  • Provide support to other staff
  • On-site and off-site meetings
  • Continued training from Cedia and manufacturers will be provided

 

Skills and experience:

  • Competent IT literacy
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both as part of a team, or individually
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Full Driving Licence

· Relevant experience in at least one of the below:

  • Lighting/Heating Control Systems
  • Building Management Systems
  • Motorised Blinds
  • Installing and Configuring Professional Wired/Wifi Networking Equipment
  • Access Control
  • Audio/Video Installations

Desirable Attributes, although not essential:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the AV/home automation/cinema industry
  • Competent knowledge of related equipment and systems, including; Control 4 Rako, Draytek, Ruckus
  • Excellent construction/practical skills
  • CEDIA qualifications

The salary is dependent on experience and qualifications within the industry.

Salary: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
