B&W CM8

Displaying unrivalled clarity from its outstanding FST™ midrange and smoothly extended highs courtesy of a Nautilus™ tube-loaded tweeter, the CM8 achieves a distinctly slimmer aspect than the larger CM9 by utilising two smaller diameter bass drivers.

Bowers and Wilkins' CM8 speakers are high performance free standing speakers which incorporate technology developed by B & W over several years to give sharp and detailed sound.

The CM8s don't have the complex flowing shapes of some of Bowers & Wilkins speakers, but they still incorporate features such as Kevlar cones for the bass and mid range drivers and the "Nautilus" tapered tube enclosure for the tweeter, which reduces errant noise and improves the detail of the speakers' output. Because of the quality of the CM series drivers B&W can use simple crossovers, often incorporating just one carefully chosen component, to give a gentle transition between them without having to worry about electronics which might distort the sound.
